1. Watermark in MS Word
Ø A watermark is a faint
image or text that appears behind the content on a page, often used for
branding, confidentiality, or design.
Ø Common examples:
"Confidential," "Draft," or company logos.
Ø To insert:
Go to the Design tab > Watermark. Or
Page layout> watermark
Select a present watermark or
click custom for more options
Choose Text Watermark or Picture
Watermark.
Adjust setting like font, colour,
size or choose and image.
Click apply to see the watermark
on your page.
2. Page Color in MS Word
Ø Page colour allows you to change the
background colour of your document for visual appeal or to match branding.
Ø To set page colour:
- Go to the Design tab/Page
layout > Page Colour.
- Choose from a palette of colours
or select More Colours for custom options.
- You can also select Fill
effects to apply gradients, textures, patterns or a picture as a
background.
3. Page Layout in MS Word
- The Page Layout
refers to how the content is arranged on the page, including margins,
orientation, and size.
- Key settings:
- Margins: Set by going to the Layout
tab > Margins (choose from preset options or customize).
- Orientation: Choose between Portrait
or Landscape under the Layout tab > Orientation.
- Size: Set the paper size (A4,
Letter, etc.) under the Layout tab > Size.
- These settings help in
organizing the content and making it suitable for both print and digital
formats.

Place your cursor where you want to insert the
bullet and go the home tab and click on insert menu and go to symbol/bullet and
select bullet.
